HydroBarrel 350 - Ice Bath Barrel

I have got into cold water therapy November 2023. Back then I purchased pop up pod type from Lumi. I have used it almost every day up until the summer this year. After the heavy use, weather it became worn out. I started looking for a replacement. I looked all over the internet to find something more durable and longer lasting. There a many out there, likes of Lumi, Myo, Cold Pod etc, They do pop types and also blow up ones. Then I looked at wooden barrels and came across Hydrobarrel. I thought ahhh what a good idea. You get the look of the barrel but without all the maintenance of the wooden types. I rang the company and spoke to salesperson called Dan, who answered all my questions. I decided to go ahead and order it. The barrel arrived in 2 days, very well packed. Honestly forget about all other types of cold pods, baths ect! Hydrobarrel is all you need! Looks quality, very well made and very cost effective compared to others mentioned above. I am very pleased with it and would highly recommend it. We purchased the lighter colour of the 2 Hydrobarrel options. Arrived in 3 working days, and was very well packaged. Super happy with the barrel - it looks remarkably like real oak and looks great in the garden. I'm 6' tall and there's plenty of room to fully submerge. I spent quite a bit of time trying to find a decent barrel, but I wasn't keen on the maintenance/cleaning required for an old real wood barrel, and the cheaper inflatable ice baths just seem like a false economy to me. The Hydrobarrel is a great option in my opinion, and it looks great.

Upgraded from an oak whiskey barrel as it was getting hard to keep clean. These barrels are brilliant quality and look great! Yes, they are more expensive than a water butt, but they are very sturdy, and also light and easy to move. You get what you pay for. Bigger and way more comfortable than the oak whiskey barrel I had. Fast and careful delivery with great friendly customer service. Questions were responded to really quickly. Would definitely use this company again. Thank you!

The barrel looks great in my garden and was my next step from the inflatable version. It feels very strong and really does look like wood. It comes with all the bits like lid, hose and tap and takes a minute or two to set up. Quick delivery, 3 days from order.

I’ve been cold showering and then cold plunging for a few years. I bought a nurecover cold tub which was ok but the top kept coming off meaning lots of debris, worms and slugs got in. My wife bought me the large cold tub/barrel for my birthday. It’s night and day compared to the old one. I don’t feel like I’m dipping in a bird bath anymore and the lid keeps the water nice and clean. I have had to put a step inside the tub when getting in. A collapsable step so I can take it out once in easily. Highly recommend especially compared to the more expensive inflatable offerings.

I absolutely love this barrel as my ice bath and to have this in my very back garden is amazing. After trying an ice bath experience at a wellness event in January, I was keen to get my own. I looked at many options and the hydrobarrel was the best option- for getting in and out, quality, 5 star reviews and the look! It didn’t take long to fill at all and I’ve managed to use it 3 times in my first week, twice after exercise. Customer service was fantastic and would highly recommend!

Bought around September time had an inflatable tub originally to see if I could actually do a cold plunge and after getting on OK with that I couldn't wait to upgrade. Originally was looking at an old whiskey barrel but after reading how difficult it was to keep water clean I opted for the medium hydrobarrel being only 5'5. Its absolutely perfect and a real bargain when you look at the price of the inlatable tubs. Customer service from Dan was spot on. Can't rate highly enough

I looked around for a while as I'm 6ft, I wanted to submurge up to my neck and the large barrel allow this, while sitting on a stool. I first looked at a wooden version, but I wanted to move it around and have something that was low maintenance. This barrel you can wipe clean and allows me to empty while I fresh water swim.

Spent quite a bit of time researching which ice tub to get. Not keen on a whiskey barrel and felt other inflatable options were too flimsy. So just had my first dip in my hydrobarrel, opted for the brown large with a step. Whilst the small might have been a little easier to get into, I like having more space in the barrel. Also looks great in my garden. So very pleased with it, great customer service from Dan answering my questions and prompt delivery.

Just set up my new ice/water barrel. Really pleased! Went for large and it’s a good roomy size, I’m 5ft 8’’. Put a small plastic stool in the bottom to aid getting in and out and for sitting on. Excellent customer service from Dan. Had to pre order but all fine and delivery went smoothly. Many thanks!

Amazing service from Dan, I preordered a Hydrobarrel and was informed on the delivery at all times. Hydrobarrel arrived early and it looks great. Cannot wait to try it out! Will update again when I have tried it. Josh
