We’ve been working hard with the Slovenian supplier of our oak effect rain barrels, Roto, to develop a UK spec of barrel, and we’re pleased to announce that our barrels are now even better suited to our UK customers.

So what’s the difference? Well, the UK spec has a BSP ¾” tap hole and tap instead of a EU ½” tap hole and tap. This larger tap hole allows for a faster flow of water, and the BSP thread is much more convenient for if and when you want to change or upgrade your tap.
